The following is a public version of my post doctoral history thesis (Conquering Stress), which I submitted 10 months ago. This public version includes some information as to how I actually acquired my data and how I worked with it. It includes some comments on the text by my supervisor and some interviews with one of the nanotechnologists that developed the GSnanoCG inhibitor.
The thesis itself is a historical trip through some of the more interesting periods of human evolution and includes theoretical and practical explanations as to why and how negative stressful emotions caused us to divert from a more direct path to our present perfect stress-free life. The human race has gone through many stages of development before reaching our present stress-free form. It is interesting to see how “progress” was often somewhat circular or perhaps we should say spiral, corkscrewing through time. Early on we were a very primitive stress-filled animal scouring for food wherever we could find it, which is in vast contrast to our present stress-free situation where everyone has what they need and is very satisfied with it. A number of times in our evolution at least parts of some cultures came close to our present clearly defined stress-free existence, only to then regress in subsequent years. |
